Representative Day Hochman-Vigil | House District 15
Representative “Day” Hochman-Vigil is a native New Mexican who was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives in 2018. She represents House District 15, settled in the heart of Abq's North Valley and the Village of Los Ranchos. Representative Hochman-Vigil previously served as the Chair of the House Transportation Committee, and in 2024 was elected to House Leadership as the House Majority Whip by her colleagues. Over her tenure in the legislature, Representative Hochman-Vigil has focused on legislation ranging from healthcare to transportation to child well-being to aerospace and aviation. In the recent 2026 legislative session, she strongly advocated for the development of a New Mexico Space Commission and celebrated our state’s aerospace leadership via House Memorial 19. In her position outside the legislature, she runs HVH Law and serves as one of New Mexico’s only certified Space & Aviation attorneys.
