Bio:

Barbara Braun is the Assistant General Manager of the Agile Acquisition Division of the Aerospace Corporation. Barbara joined Aerospace in November 2000 as a senior member of the technical staff, and has been based in the Albuquerque regional office for the entirety of her career at Aerospace. She has supported the development, test, launch, and operations of new and emerging capabilities for a wide range of customers from across the space enterprise, including the DoD, military and academic laboratories, civil space organizations such as NASA and the USGS, and emerging commercial providers. In her previous role she served as the Deputy Chief Engineer of Aerospace, where she led corporate and enterprise engineering and the modernization of Aerospace’s mission assurance practices. She is an Aerospace Center for Space Policy and Strategy partner and has written extensively on policy and mission assurance concerns for small and non-traditional satellites.
